CMA Registration 2019 is open throughout the year for CMA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final course. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) starts the CMA Registration. To fill the CMA Application Form to appear for the exam, the aspirants have to first register for the course. The online registration for CMA course is to be done at the official website, The candidates should note that to enroll for the CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate, and CMA Final course, they must complete the registration before the cut off date. Eligibility for CMA Courses

Now, before the students proceed to register for the CMA course, they should verify that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for Foundation and Intermediate course. The eligibility criteria for ICMAI CMA has been provided below.

Eligibility Criteria for Foundation Course

  1. A candidate should have passed Class 10th or its equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
  2. Should have passed Senior Secondary Examination under 10+2 scheme of a recognized Board or an Examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto or has passed National Diploma in Commerce Examination held by the AICTE or any State Board of Technical Education under the authority of the said All India Council, or should possess the Diploma in Rural Service Examination conducted by the National Council of Higher Education.

Eligibility Criteria for Intermediate Course

  1. The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2)and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India/ Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of CAT of the Institute/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination and Competency Level Part II Examination of CAT of the Institute
  2. Should have passed Foundation of ICSI/Intermediate of ICAI by whatever name called along with 10+2.

Note: The candidates who are awaiting their result can apply for Provisional Admission in the CMA Foundation and Intermediate course.

Eligibility Criteria for Final Course

  1. Those who have cleared Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India are eligible to apply for the CMA Final Course.

How to Do CMA Registration by Offline Mode?

To register for the CMA course by offline mode, the candidates need to visit their nearest chapter of CMA Institute and buy a physical form for admission in CMA Foundation, Intermediate or Final course. The candidates can also download the registration form online from the official website of ICMAI. The candidates will have to fill in the necessary information and then submit their Postal Application form, duly filled in together with relevant documents and remittances to their respective Regional Councils / Chapters only.

  1. Attested Copy of Matriculation Certificate
  2. Attested copy of 10+2 Certificate or Marksheet
  3. Attested copy of the degree, if applying for Intermediate course
  4. Three (03) Passport size photographs – One photo is to be pasted on the Application form, one on the Identity card and one is to be attached with application)

  1. Course Information: Enrollment Type, Course Type, Region/Chapter, Coaching Type, and Foundation Identification Number (if any).
  2. General Information: Your Name, Father/Husband Name, Mother’s Maiden Name, Nationality, Religion, Date of Birth, Caste, Gender, Marital Status, and Occupation.
  3. Address Details: Here, you will have to provide your Permanent and present Address.
  4. Qualification Details:
  • Once, you have provided all the necessary information, you can proceed to upload the required documents like Passport Photo, Specimen Signature, Age Proof, Pass Marksheet etc. The images are to be uploaded as per the specification.

What After CMA Registration december 2019 is Done?

Once the candidates successfully register for the CMA course, an Identification/ Registration Number will be generated. Furthermore, ICMAI then dispatches Study Material after generation of Identification/ Registration Number.

About CMA

A CMA is an individual who offers to implement services comprising the costing, pricing of goods and assistance or carries out the preparation, verification or certification of cost accounting and relevant statements. Their role broadly stating primarily holds of closely analyzing costs and devising ways to conquer it as far as possible. CMA Foundation

The first stage of CMA is designated the Foundation Course. Those who have qualified plus two or its equivalent can appeal for this course and the age limit is least seventeen years that is defined for this course. The duration of the course is approximately eight months.

CMA Intermediate

After completing the first stage, the candidate can apply for the next stage of the course, which is the Intermediate course. CMA Final

All the Candidates who have qualified all the six papers in the second stage of CMA i.e. intermediate course can apply for the third and final stage. After qualifying the third stage final examination any intended candidate can mature a cost accountant.
